Band of Brothers will be hosting its 7th Event on Saturday, August 27, 2016 to help our Members unlock the DICE LA camo.
The Event will start at 6:30PM UK time (the time you see on the very top of the website), which translates to 7:30PM CEST time (most of Europe). The Event will include following a set of procedures on an Unranked Dragon Valley server in order to get your personal code which you will use in a Ranked server to unlock the camo. Although very complicated at first, when guided you will find it easy to do. The leader of the Event will be Frostieey, as he has specialized in unlocking the camo in the past months. Band of Brothers will be hosting its 6th event on the 14th May 2016 to celebrate the announcement of multiple Dedicated Memberships. The event will include multiple different premium and non premium maps, with the premium options being played later in the evening to give the non-premium players a chance to enjoy the event first.
Please try and turn up to this event, particularly if you've been a member for a long time! It's likely you'll be rewarded. [SF] will be joining us for the event hopefully to increase the enjoyment. Band of Brothers will be opening a small group of some of our most skilled players to represent us when engaging in occasional friendly scrims against other platoons and to work together to improve our abilities playing in public matches. This is intended to be a bit more serious than our general play, but not to an extreme degree.

Band of Brothers will be hosting an an event to celebrate 1 year of us being a platoon! The date we hit 12 months is the 29th March, but because the 28th is a holiday in many places we decided to host it then. The event will consist of a variety of different maps and modes, most of which are silly "for fun" things. The following is a brief outline of the plans:

As you may already know, Band of Brothers is looking to start a competitive team. This will be a group of more dedicated players which are willing to commit to play at regular times on a regular basis and train to compete against other groups. Be warned that this will come with important expectations. If they are not met (For example, repeatedly not turning up to training) you will be kicked off the team, and you will likely not have another chance to join.

The Band of Brothers website will be undergoing a series of design changes in the near future. If anything looks funky or a little off, don't worry, it's just because it's still being changed. Typically, some items may appear to be in the wrong place, colours could have changed or text could be the wrong size. However, the website should remain functional, so if any functionality is broken please inform us.
The website will be trying to move to a more uniform colour scheme - just like we're using in some of our images. There will also be some modifications made to things like the emblem to reflect the new colour scheme. Today there has been some major changes made to the way BoB operates and looks to the outside world. It is a change which will to a degree affect every member and every member considering joining us. The most notable change is Events.
Events are weekly activities that are organised by the management of BoB. This will be set up by the new Event Manager (identified by a blue E next to their name). These can be anything from a simple match of Knife Only to stopping a train in GTA or this week's event - teams competing to blow a buggy up to the top of a building. The Event Manager is also able to provide Event Coordinator channel group for anyone who wishes to help organise events. A new section of the forum has been created with relation to events. It's been a while since the last news update so I figured it was time to update the community on the changes on the back end.
Band of Brothers now has a second server with 30 slots (-2 for commanders), thanks to Brunkey! This will be used for Battlefield: Hardline running a mix of maps and game modes alongside Lander's server which will now run smaller game modes such as Rescue and Crosshair appropriate to the 10 slot size. Three new members of staff have been added. The background of the website has also been modified to better reflect the fact that we are a community which plays multiple games. Although the image still comes from Battlefield: Hardline, it is also somewhat fitting to Grand Theft Auto: V's Heists.
The following changes have been made: Surge (BMtKSurge) has been promoted to a leader. DeathEqualsLife has been promoted to a leader. Phoenix (SgtDarkPhoenix) has been promoted to a recruiter. All three will mostly be tasked with helping to aquire new members for our community to increase growth, with Surge focusing on Battlefield: Hardline and DeathEqualsLife focusing on Grand Theft Auto: V. Surge and DeathEqualsLife will both be concerned with dealing with any issues which arise too.
