| Just tried the first mission of the single player campaign, my terrible internet is still downloading the multiplayer (but BT should activate my fibre connection today).
I really like it. This isn't a comedy campaign from what I can tell, it's extremely serious unlike the Bad Company games. I also think they nailed it. The way that each death is inevitable and shows a name with dates of birth and death is really powerful, it helps personify each character. That lead a fair amount to the feeling of seriousness and the emotional setting of the campaign. Not spent much time with it as I have to pop off to a lecture in a bit, but what I've seen so far I like.
Visually it looks great, performance I haven't looked into much yet (though I noticed some input lag? Perhaps I left VSync on as well as FreeSync). The game did crash when I tried to quit though lol.
The multiplayer I haven't played, but I imagine will be less serious and more Battlefield. What do you think?
